Quarterback Skylar Thompson has glowing words for his head coach.

When asked about the possibility of head coach Bill Snyder not returning for the upcoming season, Kansas State Quarterback Skylar Thompson praised Snyder for his consistent work ethic instead because he does not “put very much thought into it.”

Thompson says he believes that the long-time Kansas State head coach will be apart of the team while he is there.

“My mindset is hes going to be here the whole time I am here,” the sophomore quarterback said.

Snyder inherited the Kansas State football team in 1989 and brought them out of a history of losing; the Wildcats head coach retired in 2005 from the program. After three away from football, Snyder returned to Kansas football in 2009 as the head coach and has been there ever since. Snyder has collected a many awards over his time for the Wildcats, including a College Hall of Fame induction in 2015.
